The Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ) is going to organize  6th  Symposium on December 4, 2015, at the Indian Embassy Auditorium, Tokyo. ISAJ Symposium is an annual interdisciplinary symposium organized by the Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ). It provides an opportunity for young and established researchers to showcase their research, discuss ideas and foster collaborations. 

Rapid advances in health, materials, earth and environment sciences and emerging areas of nano-technology have enabled us to deal with new challenges to sustain healthy society and environment. The theme/objective of this symposium is to promote multidisciplinary/trans-d

isciplinary researches to address the societal needs including healthcare and a stressed environment through smarter materials, technologies and strategies and a best combination of multidisciplinary sciences.

ISAJ is a forum of Indian Scientists in Japan registered as an NPO with a vision to strengthen India-Japan collaborations in the field of Science and Technology. India-Japan Symposium organized by ISAJ provides a platform for both senior and young Indian researchers and their Japanese counterparts and other colleagues to share state-of-the-art information in their respective fields. 

There will be a registration fee of Yen 3,000 to cover for lunch and tea/coffee. Students are exempted!

Celebrating Sixty Years of India – Japan Diplomatic Relations

This year we are celebrating the 60th year of India-Japan diplomatic relationship. The Embassy of India, Tokyo and the Embassy of Japan, New Delhi have planned various business and cultural activities throughout the year.  

As a part of these celebrations, the Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ), in coordination with the Embassy of India, has also planned a few symposia and lecture series.  The ‘Indian National Science Day Symposium’ was held on February 28, 2012 from 14:30hrs at the Embassy of India auditorium in Tokyo. During the symposium, several eminent Indian and Japanese scientists spoke on the status of Indian and Japanese research developments in some of the important areas of Science and Technology. The symposium was attended by more than 70 acedemics and school children from the two schools.
