We are pleased to inform you that ISAJ is going to organize its 9thannual symposium entitled “Interdisciplinary science and technology for safety and quality of life,” to be held on December 7th, 2018(Friday) at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) auditorium in Tsukuba Science City. You are cordially invited to attend the symposium. Your esteemed presence would be a great encouragement for ISAJ and its future endeavors. We are anticipating a large gathering of both Indian and Japanese students (as well as students from other countries in Japan) and young professionals to participate in the conference.

As you may be aware, the number of young researchers from India is rapidly increasing in Japan. They are working in nearly all fields of science and technology. This symposium will showcase the latest scientific activities of Indian, Japanese and other researchers based in Japan. Well-known Indian and Japanese scientists will be delivering lectures in the symposium to be attended by many academicians, professionals and students. Considering the growing importance of India-Japan partnership in science and technology, this event is expected to provide an important forum in bringing together Indian and Japanese scientists. Your support  would be crucial for the success of the event.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we invite abstracts for short oral and poster presentations on any disciplines of science and technology. The deadline for submission of the abstract is November 16th, 2018 (Friday). Abstracts for consideration for oral presentations or poster presentations can be submitted by scanning the QR code from the symposium flyer as well as by e-mail to isajtsukuba2018@gmail.com.
